World Players, Inc. (WPI) is a multicultural theater company that operates under the not-for-profit umbrella of Fractured Atlas and was founded in December 2008 by a group of people who share their passion for the arts. We valued diversity in its all forms and we found our common language in the theater.
Our mission is to entertain and inspire our audiences, and to give opportunities to emerging artists. We are constantly striving to improve our productions and we believe that quality work can be done with limited resources.
Our goal is to present three productions per year; a full length play, a short plays festival that will give opportunity to a greater number of artists, and an open work. We are constantly seeking for published and unpublished quality plays to produce and all our casting is done through open auditions. As often as possible we invite artists from other fields, such as design, music, visual arts, etc to take part of our production. WPI works as an artistic collaboration, an open forum of discussion in which different opinions are respected, and new ideas and proactive participation are welcomed.
